Keep in mind that the operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards occurring to other people or their proper ty. Thoroughly inspect the area where the equipment is to be used and remove all objects which may be thrown by the machine. [. . . ] Inspect the lawnmower for damage and make repairs before restarting and operating the lawnmower; - if the lawnmower starts to vibrate abnormally (check immediately). Stop the engine: - whenever you leave the lawnmower; - before refuelling. Reduce the throttle setting during engine shut down and, if the engine is provided with a shut-off valve, turn the fuel off at the conclusion of mowing. Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the equipment is in safe working condition. Never store the equipment with petrol in the tank inside a building where fumes may reach an open flame or spark. To reduce the fire hazard, keep the engine, silencer, battery compartment and petrol storage area free of grass, leaves, or excessive grease. These symbols may appear on your machine or in the literature supplied with the product. Position lower handle on mower so cut-off flat is forward as shown and install 3/8-16 x 3/4" hex bolts and lock nuts. Install the upper handle onto the lower handle, with rope guide mounting hole to right side. Install the two (2) handle bolts through the handles and secure with the two (2) nuts. Position upstop bracket on left inside of upper handle and secure with hex washer head screw. Install the control bar above the up-stop bracket, into the hole located on the left side of upper handle, with the hole in flattened part of control bar on the right side. Push in on the right side of the control bar to allow the bar to fit into the formed hole in the upper handle. Align the tapered end of the plastic fitting with hole in the mounting bracket and push in until fitting snaps into place. [. . . ] Never cut more than 1/3 of the length of the grass, especially during dry periods. Always remove the spark plug lead before repair, cleaning or maintenance work. The spark plug must be at the highest point on the mower when it is tilted up. [. . . ]
